With that, the Caucus has been met with overwhelming support for this incredible night of fund – raising and giving.
In an ongoing pursuit to engage, educate and enhance black and minority communities across South Florida, BRCSF will be honoring esteemed community leaders who have helped charter the course of minority outreach via their continued philanthropic efforts. Receiving the Frederick Douglas Lifetime Achievement Award is longtime educator and republican Rev. Dr. Frank H. Walters, Jr. (South Orange, NJ). The Jennifer S. Carroll Humanitarian Award will be given to Philanthropist Lois B. Pope (Palm Beach, FL) as well as President / CEO of Allegiance Crane Jim Robertson (Ft. Lauderdale). Political Commentator & Entrepreneur Armstrong Williams (Washington D.C.) will receive the The Chairman’s Award for Excellence.

Such a crossroad of determining what direction to charter our Nation’s future in will be greatly impacted by black voters in 2016” said Caucus Chairman Sean P. Jackson. “We are excited to know that to date we are the ONLY Black Republican organization in the State of Florida with a plan to recruit and procure the black vote across all 67 counties in the Great State of Florida. With this excitement however comes an arduous commitment that once executed successfully will impact the 2016 Presidential Election, helping to elect the next Republican President of the United States.”
